The secure, beach-house facade unveils ocean views from every level of yard and buildings.
A short drive or walk from numerous beaches, your holiday oasis has a resort pool and lush gardens to soak up some rays and gaze out to the ocean. The Treehouse is so called as we built it to nestle into the large, small-leaf fig which is a feature of the backyard of Squeaky Sands. Your accommodation is a sizeable 'tiny house' well suited to two people. With a large, marble, double-headed shower and plenty of hot water for the separate controls, you'll enjoy gazing out the window to the greenery beyond. A full kitchen with virtually every amenity encourages you to stay-in, as does the large, private poolside deck - or head to the hinterland or beach and come home to chill later with a glass of wine and watch the water and sky change at sunset. Or maybe you never even got out of the super comfortable king-size bed! WiFi, HD SmartTV, stereo. Games, puzzles, DVDs, books. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

About Us
We are lovers of travel. We've drawn from our experiences in 6+ star accommodations in Asia and the Caribbean and AIrbnb stays across the globe to create something a little special, all while fondly remembering our earliest childhood 'beach holiday homes', full of games, and laughter and places to hide and sit and enjoy.We created Squeaky Sands to share the delight we experience when visiting our Yaroomba sanctuary. We have three indoor cats who love to sit on the upper deck and watch the birds up close, and whales in the distance. We love to cook, play golf, read, garden and more. If you want a more personalised experience of the Sunshine Coast or a delicious home cooked meal (vegetarian is a specialty), we can arrange that. Otherwise, our home is your home to enjoy in your own peaceful way when you stay.

This hidden gem surprises with its ocean views. A 'tiny house' nestled at the bottom of our block with views and amenities beyond your expectations.

The treehouse is so called as it nestles into the canopy of the large, small-leaf fig where the birds love to visit. Positioned immediately adjacent to our resort style pool, delight also in the ocean views. Inside, all the amenities you could want, and if something else is needed simply ask us - we have virtually everything in the main house.
Even today, after owning this home for some years, we continue to experience a little thrill of 'wow!' every time we arrive. And now, you too can experience Squeaky Sands as your (holiday) home.
As you enter the Balinese style garden and head down the block of this unassuming beach-house, little will you believe what awaits. Alighting into the lush back yard en-route to your tiny-house, you'll be awestruck by the ocean views afforded from every terraced level. Can’t get enough of these views? We can’t either! So grab a wine and have a seat on your exclusive Treehouse deck for some ship, bird and whale-watching.
Our guests tell us that they love the tranquility. Set far enough back from the beach and ocean (but close enough too), this is tree-top living with ocean views. The bird-life is abundant and the views always changing to respond to the moments of climate and nature.
With first-class appliances, and virtually everything we could think of that might reasonably be needed, the galley kitchen is a gourmet chef's delight. With plenty of space, the extension dining table is big enough for a huge feast. And if you don’t feel like cooking there are restaurants nearby, some that deliver, or we offer exclusive catering. Or fire up the BBQ on your deck, pool-side.
The KS bed invites lazy mornings, drinking in tree and ocean views, and coffee from the dripolator. Or hit the twin head shower, luxuriate in the overhead rainshower and enjoy the multiple settings of the hand held - operating from separate taps for ultimate temperature controls.
If you love a good movie or to watch sport the large flatscreen HD TV and surround sound brings it all to life. We have an array of DVDs you can borrow, beyond those in the Treehouse.
The garden is a delight with ocean views and glimpses from everywhere including in the pool. Plenty of room for 'at-home' picnics if you simply cannot bear to head to the beach because this place is simply superb. You can hang out by the resort style pool and enjoy the space.
